Imagine Festival 2018, Just Keeps Getting Bigger!

This will be our 3rd time attending and covering Imagine Festival in Atlanta, GA.  They were recently voted a top 30 festival in the world by Fest300.  This year it will be held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, just like last year’s festival. Ever since other festivals in the area have shut down, like TomorrowWorld and Counterpoint, Imagine Fest has picked up the slack, getting bigger and better. The experience is not limited to only the huge big name and curated musical tastes, that you will see on the many incredible stages, but you will see many installations, performers, yoga, art space, pool, as well as great food and unique vendors. One thing that I’ve always enjoyed about Imagine Fest in the past, is that they seem to care about the festival goers. It’s always super easy to get in and out of the festival grounds, fair pricing, great food & vendors, and it’s always clean! Everyone seems to be having a blast, from sun up to sun down. Rico Wade on Collabmix!

music collaboration website app software

We sat down with Rico Wade to discuss our new application, Collab! Collab makes it easier for songwriters and producers to share files and edit songs. Due to everyone’s busy schedule in the music industry, sometimes it’s impossible to always be in the place at the same time. Collab makes it easy for everyone to work on the same project without being in the same room; one person can upload the files and someone else can pull the sounds off or simply add to them. Rico explained that not only does it gives producers the opportunity to work on the same project, but it also gives artists the opportunity to work with different kinds of producers. He also compared it to what we know as a “remix.” A Dj could take the acapella version and add a remix to and it would become the official remix of a song. However, in order to do this you must collab with an existing song. Collab is the application producers and songwriters have been waiting for!
